I recently completed my dissertation focused on the challenges faced by Head Start employed ECE students and what factors contributed to their successful completion of their degrees. I interviewed students from a variety of backgrounds colleges, and found several key themes about their experiences. In this presentation, I will provide an overview of these themes, with a focus on the critical role faculty played in their success.
