Foundations for the Future: Elevating ECE Teacher Education

The 2026 ACCESS Virtual Summer Conference is a dedicated space for learning, reflection, collegiality, and celebration. We invite you to join your ACCESS colleagues for a day of collaborative inquiry as we explore the strategies, research, and tools that strengthen our practice and elevate the field of early childhood teacher education.

Please take note of your time zone. The conference will be held:

• 8am to 12pm PT
• 9am to 1pm MT
• 10am to 2pm CT
• 11am to 3pm ET

We will begin the conference with a Keynote speaker, followed by 3 rounds of choice sessions.

We have a fabulous Keynote Speaker, Carrie Perock, who will lead an engaging talk titled, Leading with Heart in a Digital Age: The Future of ECE Teacher Education! Join to learn, be inspired, and maybe walk away with a door prize!

Following the Keynote will be 3 rounds of choice sessions, which are 45 minute sessions created by ACCESS members and partners specifically to support YOU in your unique role. They are organized in the following areas:

• Pillar 1: Innovative Pedagogy — Tools & Strategies for the Higher Ed Classroom
• Pillar 2: Advocacy in Action — Shaping Policy and the Profession
• Pillar 3: The Whole Teacher Educator–Reflective Practice, Scholarship, and Wellness

Registrants will receive a virtual summer conference program, including detailed information about sessions (titles, descriptions, hosts, links to join, etc.) by May 22 (and possibly sooner!)
