Shared Practices

Our team was charged with looking at how to continue and support best practices in field placements during the pandemic.

We explored four guided questions:

  1. What current field experiences do you see being modified due to Covid recommendations? 
  2. How can developmentally effective practices be supported
  3. What are specific challenges and issues needing support to meet field experiences of the future? 
  4. What are our opportunities? (Innovative Ideas).

While regulations seem to vary from state to state and agency to agency, it will be critical to identify, support and advocate for play-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood programs.
