Come, sit back, and relax virtually with your teacher educator colleagues for a screening of the Award-winning documentary: NaturePlay – Take Childhood Back. Learn about “A new way forward in Education – OUTSIDE the box, OUTSIDE the walls” as you become familiar with the Nordic Outside Model of Education, N.O.M.E. In this cinematic journey, you’ll be inspired by the power of play as you “visit” the countries of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and the USA. Following the film, you will have time to engage with colleagues as you brainstorm how you can bring education outside in your community and shine light on the power of nature play in your work with preservice teachers.
