SAVE THE DATE, MARCH 9: Releasing the Unifying Framework for the Early Childhood Education Profession
With the conclusion of the decision cycle process, the Power to the Profession Task Force will release its final report, the Unifying Framework for the Early Childhood Education Profession. This document reflects unprecedented consensus by educators across states and settings, administrators, employers, and higher education.
Please join us, either in person in Washington, DC or online, at 2:00-4:00 pm ET on March 9 for an event to share the Unifying Framework. Celebrate our shared commitment. Learn more about the recommendations. Discuss the next steps for making our vision a reality. RSVP here.
The Unifying Framework incorporates the recommendations from all eight decision cycles, including changes in educator roles and responsibilities, aligned preparation and pathways, professional compensation, and a supportive infrastructure with shared accountability. It also calls for significant increases in federal and state investments to help ensure the 40 million U.S. children, birth to age 8, are well-served by an effective, diverse, and fairly compensated workforce of professionals.
Please join us on March 9 as we come together to build a movement to advance a unified, diverse, equitable, and effective early childhood education profession.
